How Many People Can Go on a Bouncy Castle at Once?
The number of people allowed on a bouncy castle at one time depends on the size of the inflatable and the manufacturer’s weight and user limits. These limits are there for safety reasons, so it’s important never to exceed them. Overloading a castle can cause instability and increase the risk of falls or injury.
Typical User Limits
Every inflatable has a safety label showing the maximum number of users by age or height group. For example, smaller children’s castles may allow around 6 to 8 users at a time, while larger units or adult inflatables can accommodate more — but only if the weight limit isn’t exceeded.
Always make sure there’s adult supervision while children are playing. Supervisors should ensure kids of similar sizes play together and that no rough play or flips occur.
Safety Standards and Registration
All our inflatables at Carson’s Castles are PIPA registered and tested to BS EN 14960 safety standards. Each castle has its own maximum user allocation clearly displayed on the PIPA tag.
If you’re unsure about user limits or want advice before booking, get in touch with Carson’s Castles. We’ll be happy to confirm the safe capacity for the inflatable you’re interested in.
